A native of Bilbao, saxophonist Gorka Benítez has conveyed freedom through music, words and emotions employing intelligent compositions in an intimate style with a melancholy sound. Su último trabajo con el sexteto, Callin’ the Spirits, está teniendo muy buena crítica por parte del público y prensa especializada.

Con él, han conseguido ofrecer una música única, luminosa y comunicativa. Además de los correspondientes instrumentos, los músicos se sirven de otros recursos como caracoles de mar, silbidos o percusiones para así conseguir un sonido fresco y único.
The Franco-Catalan group Five in Orbit present their latest album, Freaks, released on the Fresh Sound New Talent label. It brings together original compositions by members of the group. Thanks to the album, the group have managed to convey unique, enlightening and communicative music. As well as their respective instruments, the musicians use other resources such as sea shells, whistles and percussion to achieve a fresh, unique sound. |

For his current project, pianist Albert Bover commissioned the help of two renowned musicians from the scene: Masa Kamaguchi and David Xirgu. La banda de funk soul Mothergroove nació en 2006 gracias a Gianni Sciannamé, cantante, guitarrista y compositor italiano, el bajista brasileño Daniel Doctors, y los catalanes Abel Boquera a los teclados y Roger Serrahima a la batería. Han tocado en festivales como el Festus de Torelló, el Mercat de Música Viva de Vic y el Black Music Festival de Girona.
